Today travel to Pinnawala, the world’s first orphanage for elephants. Enjoy the bottle feeding of the baby elephants at 09:15 hrs and later visit Polonnaruwa, the second ancient capital now declared as a World Heritage Site for its historical importance. Stay overnight at Habarana.(B,D)

Go for an excursion to Anuradhapura, the ancient first capital and a World Heritage site of Sri Lanka. Before we visit any other monument we pay our respects to the holy Bo tree, the only one tree in the word with a recorded history of more than 2300 years. Return to the hotel for overnight stay. Travel to Dambulla, and en-route visit 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress. Later city sightseeing tour and visit Golden Temple and 2nd century old Dambulla Cave. Stay overnight at Dambulla. (B,D)

Today travel to Kandy, evening enjoy Kandyan traditional dance and visit the Temple of Tooth Relic, the most sacred place in Sri Lanka where the tooth relic of Buddha is kept. Stay overnight at Kandy. (B,D)

Enjoy your leisurely breakfast proceed to Kadugannawa to board the Observation Saloon of the Badulla-bound train. The train travels via hill country covered with tea estates and gives a pleasant view of the green hill country. Arrive at Nanu Oya railway station where our representative will transfer you to Nuwara Eliya. Remaining of the day free to explore the town and stay overnight at Nuwara Eliya.(B,D)

After breakfast travel to Udawalawa via Ella, enjoy the scenic beauty from Ella Gap and experience the climate crossing in Sri Lanka. Afternoon go for a safari at Udawalawa National Park. Later visit the Elephant Transit Camp where orphaned and injured elephants are treated before being sent back to the jungle. Stay overnight at Udawalawa. (B,D)

Today travel to Yala National Park, enjoy Jeep safari and spot Leopard and many other species. Evening visit Kataragama Temple and participate in the spiritual ceremonies while observing the Sri Lankan belief systems, local customs and traditions. Stay overnight at Tissamaharama.(B,D)

Travel to Bentota via Galle, another World Heritage Site because of its old fortification built somewhere around 17th century by the Dutch rulers. En route visit the moonstones mines at Meetiyagoda, and then a turtle hatchery at Kosgoda. Remaining of the day at leisure with overnight at Bentota. (B,D)

Have a leisurely breakfast before travelling to Colombo. Remaining of the day free for last moment shopping and for your own activities. Stay overnight at Colombo.(B,D)

After breakfast transfer to the airport to board the flight for your onward journey. (B)
